Calling all artists.

We love big bold patterns, crazy animals doing things in unusual ways, geometrics and tribals.  You could say our design palette focuses on these themes.  While working our way into our Fall/Winter collection, we struck upon an insanely awesome idea!  Why not open up the last two images to you!  In case it hasn't been made aware, we use up and coming designers that have a creative and fresh take on the world with the aesthetics we have in mind, to create custom designs for our line.  We have had the privilege to work with some really amazing designers.  Andrea Courchene from Paper Sparrow, Kirsty Baynham from Prism of Starlings , Emily Olson of E. Olsen Design, etc.  Now we want to work with you, do you have an eye for art that would fit into our brand?  If so we want to hear from you!

Here's the lowdown, let us see what you have, if it works for the collection we will pick up your design and run it in our 2011/2014 collection for six months.  We will pay you the going rate for a commissioned item, publicize your awesome work and help to get your name out there for future projects!

Well what are you waiting for, show us what you've got!

Send all submissions to Jen at saltcityemporium@gmail.com

A few things to consider....

-We have two lines of clothing, our children's line "Salty Tots" and "Urban Salt" our new adult line that will launch this Fall.  All images need to be appropriate for both lines.
-We really love being diverse for girls and boys,  gender neutral designs a plus!
-Don't forget that you design will be worn as a piece of clothing, consider how it will look on the body.  It is too complicated, too small, etc.
-The crazier the better!

You can check out the current list of designers we currently feature here.
